Mass Shooting Lies

Foreword: this is an article completely eliminating the idea of false flag shootings, which undoubtedly happen, but for the sake of this article I'm simply going by the assumption that all of these events were committed by the perptrators with no outside influence and that they were not framed for said attacks




Ever since Columbine the media has been feeding off of the corpses of bullet riddled students, postal workers and the general public in the endless media cycle to profit from human suffering on a global scale - but what sells more than death, mayhem and destruction across your TV? An agenda, when you push an agenda you now have a loyal audience who will constantly consume your content in order to justify their beliefs by isolating themselves from all outside information which might contradict their deep rooted biases.

The agenda that the media pushes about mass shootings is that the shooting is inherently a gun problem; not one with mental illness or the glorification of mass murder by broadcasting it across national TV whenever it happens, but think back to the 1970s and 1980s where serial killers were the big thing for the media, they constantly covered their crimes and copycats appeared constantly due to the media coverage they were given.

That changed in the late 1980s when a new form of murder appeared in the public, the idea of mass shootings was perfect for the media to pander and inspire fear in the public so they rather quickly replaced the role that serial killers filled and the amount of copycats actively sinked while mass shootings skyrocketed across the US.

But what I said is only a half truth, the reality is that mass shootings have always 'always been a problem' in the US, but the idea of the typical lone wolf mass shooter was largely pushed in the wake of the Edmond post office shooting, which caused the media to coin the phrase 'going postal', and the 1999 Columbine High School shooting which was the perfect thing to peddle to depressed, angry loners in High School that get bullied.

So what really is a mass shooting, well if we go by the commonly accepted definition by the media then a mass shooting is an incident in which 4 or more people are hit by gunfire; not killed.

So the 'hundreds of mass shootings a year' are not the idea that the media has pushed being a 'lone wolf shooter', but in reality most mass shootings are fight escalation, gang violence, a targeted shooting or have an unknown motive - this is also while most shootings are not committed inside of public buildings but rather streets, parties, parking lots and homes.

If we consider this definition then the reality of mass shootings is that it's an incredibly diverse crime, in 2022 the total amount of mass shootings with identified perpetrators totalled at 383. Of those 383 mass shootings the following table can be created:

So as can be clearly seen, the is crime is far more diverse and complicated than surface level observations like someone's ethnicity or the color of their skin.

Another major media hoax is that mass shootings only happen in the US, and while mass shootings are far more common in the US (lone wolf attacks), it's often blamed on a lack of proper gun laws all whilst conveniently ignoring the fact that the mass shootings which happen in Europe are committed in countries with strict gun regulations, so here's some of the mass shootings which have happened outside of America from 1990-2023:


So the idea of the 'lone wolf' shooter, the innaccurate media representation of mass shootings, is not limited to just America and some of the deadliest mass shootings in the world have happened outside of America; particularly the Utoya Island massacre in Norway, the Christchurch Mosque shootings in New Zealand, the Uiryeong massacre in South Korea, the Tsuyama massacre in Japan and the Port Arthur massacre in Australia.

Another media perptuated hoax regarding mass shootings is that they're overwhelmingly motivated by political ideologies; this is simply not nor has it ever been the case. The same media image was pushed in the wake of Columbine due to the swastika symbols found on the knifes of the shooters, but beyond a surface analysis revealed that the motivation for the shooting wasn't political, wasn't racially motivated nor was it motivated by bullying but rather a general hatred for humanity held by both Harris and Klebold - considering Klebold was also Jewish the idea that they were 'neo-nazis' was quicky swept under the rug - the reality was that they were just misanthropic teenagers that centered their rampage around anything violent.

Mass shooters can largely be lumped into the following categories:

  • Misanthropic Killers: Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, James Huberty, TJ Lane, Ilnaz Galyaviev, Vladislav Roslyakov

  • Revenge Killers: Ctirad Vitasek, Michael Louis, Nathan Dunlap, Mutsuo Toi, Anthony Ferrill, Timothy Simpkins

  • Workplace Killers: Patrick Sherrill, Richard Farley, Jennifer Marco, Brandon Hole, Randy Stair, Uk Thang

  • Family Annihilators: Charles Whitman, Kip Kinkel, Michael Haight, Marcus Milligan, Thang Khen, Steven Sueppel

These groups do overlap on occasion, the simple fact of the matter is that the problem with mass shootings is not related to guns simply due to the fact that mass murder without guns still happen in places with strict gun regulations which shows that if someone really wants to kill people in mass they'll find a way to do so.

This can be achieved via car ramming attacks, mass stabbings, bombings and arson attacks.

Anti-gun lobbyists push the idea that if you ban guns it will reduce the amount of mass shootings in the US, which is a no brainer, but it fails to acknowledge why mass shootings even happen and instead simply take away the weapon that's used in the belief that all mass murder will magically stop, or that the death toll in these incidents will be 'far lower' if guns are not used.

They don't seek to stop mass murder, just make it look better by reducing the death toll but not the common nature of said events
