Crocus City Hall Attack

First responders attempting to put out the fire at Crocus City Hall

This is a still fresh case, so this page will most likely be updated with new information as it comes out. But ISIS has supposedly struck again in Russia, killing 143 and wounding 360 - the shooters are said to be Tajik nationals, their names are Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev, Saidakrami Rachabalizoda, Shamsidin Fariduni and Muhammadsober Faizov.

The western narrative on the attack seems to be that ISIS-KP is responsible for the attack, while the Russian narrative states that Ukraine is responsible for the attack, many are being blamed for the attack from all sides though; ISIS, the CIA, the MOSSAD and the FSB have been considered as having a potential role.

The above article saying that it was ISIS behind the attack reads as follows:

"A branch of the Islamic State claimed responsibility on Friday for the attack in Moscow that killed at least 40 people and injured about 100 others, and U.S. officials confirmed the claim shortly afterward. The United States collected intelligence in March that Islamic State-Khorasan, known as ISIS-K, the branch of the group based in Afghanistan, had been planning an attack on Moscow, according to officials. ISIS members have been active in Russia, one U.S. official said.

After a period of relative quiet, the Islamic State has been trying to increase its external attacks, according to U.S. counterterrorism officials. Most of those plots in Europe have been thwarted, prompting assessments that the group had diminished capabilities. 'ISIS-K has been fixated on Russia for the past two years,' frequently criticizing President Vladimir V. Putin in its propaganda, said Colin P. Clarke, a counterterrorism analyst at the Soufan Group, a security consulting firm based in New York. 'ISIS-K accuses the Kremlin of having Muslim blood in its hands, referencing Moscow’s interventions in Afghanistan, Chechnya and Syria.'

The attack on Friday in Moscow, like a January assault in Iran claimed by the group, could prompt a reassessment of its ability to strike outside its home territory.

In addition to publicly warning on March 7 about a possible attack, U.S. officials said they had privately told Russian officials about the intelligence pointing to an impending attack. It is not clear how much information the United States gave Russian officials beyond what was in the public warning.

American intelligence agencies have a 'duty to warn' potential targets of dangers when they learn of them.

The United States had warned Iran of a possible attack ahead of twin bombings in January that killed at least 103 people and wounded 211 others at a memorial service for Iran's former top general, Qassim Suleimani, who was killed by a U.S. drone strike four years before.

Western intelligence agencies had collected intelligence about possible planning by ISIS-K to bomb the service. As in Russia, ISIS-K claimed responsibility for that attack."

The above article saying that it was Ukraine behind the attack reads as follows:

"The suburban Moscow music hall where gunmen opened fire on concertgoers was a blackened, smoldering ruin Saturday as the death toll in the attack surpassed 130 and Russian authorities arrested four suspects. President Vladimir Putin claimed they were captured while fleeing to Ukraine.

Kyiv strongly denied any involvement in Friday’s assault on the Crocus City Hall music venue in Krasnogorsk, and the Islamic State group's Afghanistan affiliate claimed responsibility.

Putin did not mention IS in his speech to the nation, and Kyiv accused him and other Russian politicians of falsely linking Ukraine to the assault to stoke fervor for Russia's war in Ukraine, which recently entered its third year.

U.S. intelligence officials confirmed the claim by the IS affiliate.

'ISIS bears sole responsibility for this attack. There was no Ukrainian involvement whatsoever,' National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said in a statement."

It is of note though that the Amaq News Agency, a news outlet supposedly linked to ISIS, published videos online taken by the shooters of them killing Russians in the building. I'd embed the video here but I'd prefer keeping my website up so if you wanna see the video you can find it here.

Some odd details though come before the shooting itself even occurred, it's stated that Russia neutralized an ISIS cell which was planning an attack on a Jewish religious center in Moscow on March 7th, it was noted on the same day that the American embassy in Moscow issued a security alert of a potential terror attack that could occur in the next 48 hours. Which was dismissed as an attempt to intimdate the Russian government, a transcript of an FSB meeting on March 19th confirms this:

"I should also like to recall the recent, to put it bluntly, provocative statements by a number of official Western structures about the possibility of terrorist attacks in Russia. All this resembles outright blackmail and an intention to intimidate and destabilize our society. You are well aware of this, and I will not go into details now.

I ask the FSB together with other intelligence services and law enforcement agencies, under the coordination of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee, to seriously strengthen anti-terrorist work in all areas, realizing that we are dealing with a strong, dangerous enemy, whose arsenal includes extensive information, technical, financial capabilities, what can I say, we know their capabilities in all these areas, including intelligence methods and terrorist methods. Suffice it to recall the undermining of the Nord Streams in the Baltic Sea. They will do anything."

Which makes it even more odd because if they really don't trust American tips then why did Putin openly praise the US Government in 2017 and for helping stop a terrorist attack in Russia based on info from the CIA? Clearly they don't have as much of a problem with this information as they say they do, furthermore since Russia knew of an ISIS cell active earlier in the month and were anticipating a form of attack from the US which put them on high alert, how did they miss this?

This becomes an even bigger question when you consider that it took the SOBR and OMON one hour to arrive on the scene after the shooting first started, right after they increased security across the aboard in anticipation of a terrorist attack? Only weeks after discovering an ISIS cell in Moscow? What got them so caught up that they failed to appropriately respond to a situation which they were supposedly preparing for? It doesn't make sense at all.

One of the cars used by the shooters

By the time that the proper forces arrived the shooters had already fled the building and were detained in the Bryansk region supposedly attempting to flee into Ukraine, which was used as the ultimate proof that Ukraine had either paid the shooters to commit the attack or they were Ukrainian intelligence assets.

This was brought into question when Lukashenko and the Belarusian ambassador to Russia, Dmitri Krutoy, who said that they first attempted to flee into Belarus but were stopped at the border with the assistance of Russian special services, an article on the statement from Lukashenko reads as follows:

"The head of state was asked whether Belarus needed to take additional security measures after the tragic events in Moscow Region. Alexander Lukashenko replied that our country is already doing everything necessary to ensure security when organizing mass events involving a large number of people. 'We deploy police, OMON, reinforce with military personnel if necessary. Everyone is armed,' the President noted. And this security system should be adhered to. Equipping the facilities with video cameras is also an important aspect. Thanks to their presence, it was possible to track down and identify a car with terrorists near the Crocus City Hall.

Already after the tragedy, some media did not rule out the version that the terrorists were going to flee to Belarus via Bryansk oblast. Alexander Lukashenko categorically responded to these assumptions: 'They couldn't go to Belarus. Their handlers (we have suspicions about some of them, I'll call Putin and tell him my suspicions) - they realized that they couldn't go into Belarus. Because in the first minutes, just as in Russia, part of the region went to a heightened security regime, so did we. The KGB chairman (he is in charge of anti-terrorist measures) reported to me in the first minutes. We put our units into action according to the most combat situation. In particular, the forces of the Interior Ministry were involved, checkpoints were set up on the roads, including with Russia, as well as the KGB, State Border Committee, some units of the military. 'Therefore, there was no way they could not enter Belarus. They saw that. That's why they turned away and went to the section of the Ukrainian-Russian border,' said the head of state. The operation to detain them, according to the President, was very solid.

The head of state emphasized that the Belarusian and Russian sides had been cooperating effectively and smoothly throughout the time after the terrorist attack. 'The interaction between Belarusians and Russians is worth a lot,' said Alexander Lukashenko. The President explained that immediately after the incident, the intelligence services of the two countries acted according to the previously set algorithm, as determined by the presidents of Belarus and Russia. 'Bortnikov and Tertel contacted, immediately began to act, they reported to us. And from that moment, what concerned the high level, us, the President of Russia and the President of Belarus, was discussed more than once in our contacts,' said Alexander Lukashenko. As soon as the heads of state received information from the special services that the car with terrorists is moving towards Bryansk, it was agreed that Belarus would block its part of the direction of the likely movement of criminals, while the Russian side - its own. We called each other. I asked him: 'Do you need anything else?' - 'No. Everything is fine.' - He asks me: 'Will you help me close it?' - 'I will. We're doing everything. There is such a dialog,' said the head of the Belarusian state."

The statement from Dmitri Krutoy reads as follows:

"'Active cooperation has been going on along the lines of special services since today. The head of the Committee of State Inspectorate is in close relationship with his colleagues. In fact, the main task last night was to prevent terrorists from crossing our border. This task has been accomplished. Maximum security measures have been introduced,' said Dmitry Krutoy."

This is rather telling and proves that Putin was lying, Russia and Belarus stopped the shooters from fleeing into Belarus but didn't detain them then, they instead waited to detain them at the Ukrainian border and warped the truth to try and use it as evidence that they were working for Ukraine, more strange details are in the fact that the border in the Bryansk region had it's security increased on March 14th with a deployment of more army units.

What happened after the suspects were detained is also of note in this case, so let's get into that topic now, shall we?

crocus_suspects

The suspects, from left to right; Saidakrami, Shamsidin, Dalerdzhon and Muhammadsobir

When they finally showed up in court they were heavily bruised, showing clear signs of torture, and if the videos/photos posted on telegram and shared on watchpeopledie are to be believed then one of them had their ear cut off and was forced to eat it, while another had his testicles electrocuted by a TA-57 field telephone during an interrogation - just standard procedures when extracting information, obviously.

I think after this show of sheer force the suspects they have in custody will be singing any tune that the Kremlin wants them to, just like how those tortured at Abu Ghraib admitted to crimes that they didn't commit simply so the torture would stop.

Let us also not forget that the FSB has played the role of Jihadists before as well, particularly Chechens as was the case with the 1999 Apartment bombings, there have been more claims laid against the FSB of this manner by FSB defectors and Journalists since then as well. In particular it's been stated that the FSB orchestrated the Moscow Theatre siege and the Beslan School siege.

But who is benefitting the most from this attack? It's not NATO, it surely isn't Ukraine either, the only people actively gaining from this attack are Putin and the Kremlin as they've used this attack to continue to bring in support for the war in Ukraine, I do not quite understand the perspective of certain "truth" sites who push that it was NATO and Ukraine that did this and Russia exposed it. Citing reports from Russian commanders and the Russian government as sources and not questioning it any further, doesn't that defeat the purpose of running such a site to begin with? Just because someone is lied about does not mean they are truthful.
